Penguin Kindergarten

We are a small private kindergarten behind Bežigrad, housed in a renovated villa with a beautiful garden, surrounded by a beautiful rainbow colored fence.Penguin Kindergarten is equipped with children’s recreational equipment with charming old fruit trees all around. We are situated in a quiet street in Ljubljana at Popoviceva 16. The single-family house was renovated in 1997, in accordance with the standards for kindergartens. Operation began in the same year. The versatility of the many rooms, spread over four floors, offers a safe and comfortable stay in the homey atmosphere.

Puhek Kindergarten Unit

The Penguin Kindergarten has a younger brother called Puhek Kindergarten. Puhek, in English, means “fluffy” e.g baby penguin. The kindergarten is surrounded by a large garden in a peaceful neighborhood on Kamniska Street. The kindergarten was completely remodeled and brightly furnished which makes it very attractive to the little ones. The vast space offers opportunities which help children develop ​ physical coordination, strength, and flexibility, as well as providing recreation and enjoyment​ . Inside, the house is designed with a big playroom to provide the necessary environment to support the children’s learning development.
At Puhek Kindergarten, programs are carefully designed to encourage each child’s growing need for independence and an emerging sense of self while nurturing intellectual growth, exploration, andsocialization in a safe and supportive environment.
